Money in Andorra

Currency:

Although most currencies are accepted, the main currency in circulation is the Euro. Euro (€) = 100 cents.

Notes are in denominations of €500, 200, 100, 50, 20, 10 and 5. Coins are in denominations of €2, 1 and 50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 cents.

• Currency Exchange
  Andorran banks and bureaux de change will exchange foreign currency.
• Credit/Debit Cards and ATMs
  American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and Visa are accepted.
• Traveller's Cheques
  To avoid additional exchange rate charges, travellers are advised to take traveller's cheques in Euros, Pounds Sterling and US Dollars.
• Banking Hours
  Mon-Fri 0900-1300 and 1500-1700, Sat 0900-1200.
